Digital Marketing Specialist

Canada (Remote), Part-Time

About the Role

We’re looking for a part-time data-driven digital marketer with a strong understanding and demonstrated experience in paid media and email marketing. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a ‘get it done’ spirit who will help us take our digital presence to the next level and help drive traffic and leads. This is a fully remote position, and you can be located anywhere in Canada but need to follow PST working hours.

What You'll Do

Paid Media / Social Advertising

  • You’ll create, implement, and monitor social campaigns on LinkedIn and Facebook to maximize traffic and lead generation. This includes end-to-end campaign management, from set-up, ad creation, reporting, etc.

  • You’ll implement retargeting ad campaigns across social and/or Google Ads.

  • As we grow, you’ll identify opportunities for new paid media channels (Youtube, etc) and SEM and implement Google Ads/PPC campaigns.

Email Marketing

  • You’ll create strategic email campaigns to support sales and customer success efforts in lead generation, engagement, and retention.

  • You’ll help build up our email marketing automation program by creating automated workflows and drip nurture campaigns, performing list segmentation, etc.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in paid media and email marketing – ideally in a B2B/SaaS environment

  • Demonstrated experience with paid social, especially LinkedIn and Facebook campaigns

  • Knowledge and some experience with paid search, Google Ads, Bing, etc

  • Experience in running email marketing and nurture campaigns for lead gen & retention

  • Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, and digital marketing practices

  • A positive attribute and flexibility in responding to changing requirements and priorities

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, public relations, or related field

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage paid media campaigns from end-to-end, including setup, ad & graphic creation, reporting, optimization, etc.

  • Have the writing skills needed to draft a marketing email or write compelling ad or landing page copy.

  • Proficiency with Canva, common web platforms, and have had some experience using marketing automation platforms.

  • Solid knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • Collaborative team player as you’ll be working within a small, tight-knit team.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Nice to Have: Working knowledge of HTML/CSS skills for designing/troubleshooting email/ landing page templates.
