Professional Services Manager
Vancouver (Remote), Full-Time
About the Role
You will lead our customer services team and assume responsibility for consulting engagements projects. You’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert for customers and internal teams for all Dynamics 365 and Business Application solutions. The ideal candidate will take charge of our services and implementation offerings and own the entire process from start to end. We are looking for a proactive self-starter with a “get it done” spirit who is deeply focused on customer success and shares our commitment to providing ongoing value to our clients. As part of a growing team, you will be able to instantly make an impact by delivering services to clients, helping build out our service offerings, and streamlining our service delivery process and documentation. As we grow, this role will require you to continuously build, manage, and mentor a team of professional services consultants. This is primarily a remote job, but some travel to client sites may be required.
What You'll Do
Meet with clients and prospects to analyze and understand their processes and requirements and produce reports detailing your conclusions and recommendations.
Translate requirements into ERP configurations, identify gaps in system functionality compared to client’s requirements, propose solutions.
Provide functional and technical expertise through the implementation process, including knowledge of the core platform, additional solutions, and integrations.
Support clients throughout the deployment of the ERP solution, including the design, integration, configuration, customization, and testing of implemented solutions.
Actively work on resolving technical issues and establishing improved solutions.
Build, hire, and manage a team of professional services resources and subcontractors.
Mentor and develop staff on the job and through formal feedback.
Build and monitor professional services KPIs to measure the success of the team.
Provide direction, context, and assistance with prioritization to your team in supporting their customer deliverables.
Participate in thought leadership activities such as blog posts, videos, and other related sales and marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of full-cycle consulting and implementation experience coupled with a strong understanding of ERP and Business applications.
Experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in selling work to clients.
Expertise in architectural and technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics such as installations, architecture design, configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, etc.
Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue, and risk management experience.
Bachelor’s degree or Professional Experience in a related discipline (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Management/Business, Information Technology, MIS, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work in a self-directed manner and develop strong working relationships with clients
Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within an organization
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and deliver successful results
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders (at all levels) across the organization
Motivation to obtain new Microsoft certifications
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ D365 Business Central and Microsoft certifications
Financial accreditation such as CGA, CMA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL Server
Project management / Sure Step experience
Demonstrated success in leading and managing people in a team-based environment
