Industry Expertise
Our experts have decades of ERP implementation experience across various industries and will guide you as trusted partners.
An ERP solution impacts every area of an organization’s operations – and there’s a lot that can go wrong that can increase your initial budget and timeline. That’s why it’s no surprise that ERP implementations are considered one of the highest-risk projects a company can take on.
These risks – cost overruns and timeline delays - are the most significant barriers to entry for companies that are either still on legacy systems or have outgrown their current software. As a result, they miss out on the value and many benefits of a modern ERP solution. This is why Kwixand Solutions has developed KwixSmart, a 2-part implementation methodology for Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to constrain these risks for our clients.
How Our 2 Phase Implementation Works
Phase I is a fixed-fee project that typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the client’s business. In this phase, our professional services team does a deep dive into the client’s business processes to fully understand the client’s functional requirements. Then the team analyzes the Dynamics 365 software the client has selected to assess which requirements are available out of the box, identify gaps, and design solutions to fill those gaps in the software. Afterward, a project plan and a schedule based on the estimated effort are created. Finally, the client receives a proposal document with the fixed-fee price to implement their new Dynamics 365 solution. One thing to keep in mind is that the client has no obligation to move into phase II after completing Phase I.
Phase II is a fixed-fee project that typically takes between 3 to 6 months, depending on the complexity of the client’s business. In this phase, the Kwixand team implements the Microsoft ERP solution outlined in the proposal document from Phase I. This phase includes the implementation and go-live, along with training and support. The financial risk for the client is removed in this stage because they know ahead of time what the financial investment is, along with the timeline, and they know exactly what functionality they are receiving in their new system.
