Senior ERP Consultant (Finance)
Vancouver (Remote), Full-Time
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant (Finance), you will be involved in all aspects of implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert and functional lead/co-lead for key financial modules for customers and internal teams on Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects.
What You'll Do
Meet with clients and prospects to analyze and understand their processes and requirements and produce analysis reports detailing your conclusions and recommendations.
Translate requirements into ERP configurations, identify gaps in system functionality compared to client’s requirements, propose solutions.
Provide functional and technical expertise through the implementation process, including knowledge of the core platform, additional solutions, and integrations.
Support clients throughout the deployment of the ERP solution, including the design, integration, configuration, customization, and testing of the implemented solution.
Actively work on resolving technical issues and establishing improved solutions.
Participate in thought leadership activities such as blogs, white papers, and other related efforts.
Professional Experience
5+ years of full-cycle consulting and implementation experience coupled with a strong understanding of ERP applications, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ D365 Business Central
Knowledgeable in financial management disciplines and familiar with some of the technologies that enable the Finance function
Expertise in architectural and technical aspects of MS Dynamics such as installations, architecture design, configuration, integrations, troubleshooting etc.
Experience in customizing Dynamics Forms, Views, and Dashboards. Creating and implementing custom Dynamics Business processes and Custom workflows.
Experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in selling work to client
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders (at all levels) across the organization
Demonstrated success in leading and managing people in a team-based environment
Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience. Project management / Sure Step experience is a strong asset.
Qualifications & Requirements
Financial accreditation such as CGA, CMA, or CPA and/or Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred (Finance/Accounting).
Existing Microsoft certifications are an asset. Has the motivation to obtain new Microsoft certifications.
Knowledge of SQL Server is an asset.
Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within an organization effectively.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work in a self-directed manner and develop strong working relationships with clients. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to deliver successful results.
